single mum of 3 beautiful children....... I have new hopes, aspirations and dreams, 1st to get debt free, pay off my mortgage, get healthy, buy a new car (accomplished), do some much needed home improvements- phewwww - deep breath.. and spend more time with my children. In July 2011 I took redundancy due to restructuring at work, and from 31st August 2011 I was no longer a teacher.

I have used this opportunity to set up my own home based childcare business which will mean a very big pay cut, but at the same time will give me the opportunity to raise my own children, and home educate my youngest. So I am going to have to realise my dreams with a little inginuity and and a new frugal lifestyle, so this is my journey......

it arrived....

mini mans school  transfer form arrived, so i immediately filled my section in and ran around to his school at the end of my street at lunch time. I picked it up at 4.30 after his football call to find the headteacher had not signed it. So I asked the receptionist, who went and got her.

Was dreading this,  she basically said she had not signed it because i had not consulted her, which is something I don't need to do, she wanted to know why I was transferring him, I did put it on the form, but i humoured her anyway.  She then said " oooh I wish you would have felt you could come to me," this is where I juust did not feel like being polite anymore and reminded her of her failure to help when mini man was being bullied, her behaviour towards myself at the time, that I found her unapproachable and the school community as whole, and that i felt it was in the best interest of mini man to severe all ties with the school. I think with the incident with big bit on Tuesday and Wednesday, I just don't feel like being polite anymore.

I then called mini mans dad, and told him about what i planned to do, and he was all for it, strange as he usually tries to sabotage anything. Am thinking while he is being receptive to broach the subject of home education in case I decide to go this route with mini man in the future.

So the form is all done and dusted and ready to send off in the morning - fingers crossed there is still a place available
